Craggy Range The Quarry 2008 is a high-end, Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant Bordeaux-style red blend from the Gimblett Gravels region in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.

Characteristics: Deeply colored with rich, ripe black fruit, fine-grained tannins, and classic structure backed by French oak aging.
Drinkability: As a 2008 vintage, it is fully mature. While top-tier Bordeaux blends from well-stored cellars can hold complexity, mature bottles from this era should be checked for oxidation or decline, as individual storage conditions heavily dictate how well a 2008 red drinks today
Composition: Approximately 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, and 6% Cabernet Franc.
Alcohol: 14%
Origin: Sourced from the Gimblett Gravels vineyard, named "The Quarry" because the site was saved from becoming an actual gravel pit.
