Glenfiddich 15YO Solera Single Malt 700ml

Matured in three types of oak — American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and virgin oak — before being married together in Glenfiddich's Solera Vat, a vessel that has never been fully emptied since 1998. Each new batch is added to what remains of the last, so every bottle carries a thread of whisky going back over two decades — a technique pioneered by Glenfiddich's own Malt Master and still unique to the distillery.

Nose: An intriguingly complex aroma — sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits.

Palate: Silky smooth, revealing layers of sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. Full-bodied and bursting with flavour.

Finish: Satisfyingly rich, with a lingering sweetness.

Colour: Golden, with a red hue.
